PRICING AND GENERAL INFORMATION

My process, pricing and overall structure may be different than what you have experienced with other photographers so please take time to read the details below. This should cover just about everything however, if you still have questions please let me know by using the form at the bottom of this page.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

  • The cost per athlete photographed is $30.00.

  • 100% participation/purchase is required. If 20 athletes are photographed, the total cost would be $600 (20x$30). This is for athletes photographed and excludes coaches.

  • Athletes will have the opportunity to pay their required $30.00 fee to me directly when they are photographed (cash, check or Venmo) or prior to their shoot (Venmo).

  • I am not able to track or collect individual athlete payments after the photo shoot. I will invoice the team/booster club as a whole for any and all athletes who do not pay their portion when they are photographed (day of shoot). This will require a designated person to collect remaining payments in order to pay the invoice as a whole.

  • Individual athletes as well as remaining balance team invoices can be paid with cash, check or Venmo.

    • All checks payable to 3rd Creative

    • All Venmo payments to @Don-Ward-13 (last four digits of cell 3756 if asked)

  • $30.00 is the required minimum cost per athlete. If an athlete or a team decides to purchase additional but optional images or banners the total cost per athlete could exceed $30.00.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

  • Other than vinyl banners, I do not offer printed products. I offer high resolution, digital jpeg images with full printing and usage rights. This allows the athlete, parents, team and school to use the images for anything they want such as merchant photo fundraisers, social media, website, programs and yearbooks.

  • Each athlete will receive an individual digital image as well as the team digital image in both 2x3 and 4x5 ratios. Two images but four total digital files. I will also provide a printing guide to aid in printing various print sizes using the digital image files as well as a print release form.

  • BONUS! - I will share unedited, social media quality, jpeg versions of the green screen images with the athletes/team at no extra cost. This means that the team/athletes can use them to create their own social media images (game day, achievements, etc.) With resources like Canva this has become much easier and less complicated. If an athlete or team would like me to edit and create additional images for them they can do so for an additional charge but that is optional and not required. See pricing details for “extras” below.

IMAGE DELIVERY

  • Once all of the teams images are completed, a link to a shared Google drive folder will be sent to my designated contact person for image distribution to parents and athletes. Parents and athletes can request that their images be emailed to them directly from me by providing an accurate email address at the photo shoot or emailing me a request at don@3rdcreative.com. Be sure to include the athletes first and last name, jersey number, school, team (Varsity/JV/Freshman), sport and grade as I am often creating for multiple teams at the same time.

VINYL BANNERS (optional)

  • If your team would like vinyl banners I can make it very easy and affordable. The cost for 13oz vinyl banners with metal hanging grommets is $3 per square foot. If you have a size in mind you can simply multiply the width X height X 3 to calculate the price. If you would like a heavier weight/more durable or mesh wind resistant banners I can provide pricing information upon request. 13oz is the standard weight and they are very durable.

    Some common 13oz sizes are but not limited to

    • 2’x3’ - $18 each

    • 3’x4.5’ - $40.50 each

    • 4’x6’ - $72 each

    • 6’x9’ - $162 each

    • 8’x10’ - $240 each

    • 8’x12’ - $288 each

  • Unless the athlete purchases an additional pose digital image ($10 each) I will use the same pose/image for the banner that is used for the digital individual included in the required $30 base purchase.

  • Banners can be shipped directly to the school or designated parents address. There is no additional charge for shipping on the initial team order. If additional banners are requested after the initial order there is an additional shipping charge of $10 per order (not per banner). No shipping charge will apply in the event that I have to reorder due to an error that I have made. As a safe guard, I always offer the designated person I am working with the opportunity to proof digital images for accuracy prior to ordering vinyl banners.

  • Once a banner order is placed, they typically arrive in 2-3 business days (quick!).

OTHER OPTIONAL EXTRAS Parents and athletes will have the option to purchase edited versions of additional images/poses. Once you have your unedited green screen images you are welcome to email your request for additional edited images to me at don@3rdcreative.com. Be sure to include the athletes name and, the image numbers you want and any other details (buddy image, game day image, memory mate etc.). See details and pricing below.

Upgrade your proofs

Unedited, low resolution, social media quality proofs are included in your initial $30 fee. However, you do have the option to upgrade your individual proof images to high resolution, edited and retouched versions for a $30 fee. This includes color, skin tone correction, blemish removal, eye glass glare removal, teeth whitening, eye enhancement, optional braces removal and more.

Buddy/Sibling Images

  • Athletes are welcome to pose with friends or siblings . The cost for a 4x5 digital jpeg buddy image is $15 for the first 2 people. If more than two people are in the buddy image add $5 for each additional person. For example, a 2 person buddy image is $15. A 3 person buddy image is $20. A 5 person buddy image is $30. Buddy images can also be game day images if requested.

Memory Mates

  • Digital 5x4 memory mate images are $15 each. You can select a different pose than the included individual if you prefer.

Game Day Images

  • Parents and athletes are welcome to purchase game day images. The cost ifor a single person 1x1 game day image is $10. Add $5 per extra person for buddy game day images. Game day images can be made with or without specific game information. Parents and athletes are welcome to select the pose of their choice.

Additional Pose Images

  • Parents and athletes are welcome to purchase additional individual images using poses/images of their choice. The cost for a 4x5 alternate pose digital jpeg is $10 each.

PHOTO DAY

On the scheduled day of your teams shoot, I will need to start set up 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time. I will need an air conditioned space with access to power outlets. The space will need to have high ceilings (12 feet or higher). Gymnasiums are ideal.

I photograph each athlete in a wide variety poses. This gives the athlete and parents more options but it also gives me more options when creating team/group images. The one draw back is that it can extend the length of the shoot. I will try to keep things moving and take the least amount of time possible WITHOUT compromising quality. If there are any time constraints please communicate that with me in advance so that I can plan accordingly.

Some decisions need to be made and communicated prior to your teams shoot such as -

  • Smiles or game face? At least the team image needs to be consistant if not all.

  • Uniform to be warn (color).

  • What is and is not allowed such as bracelets, necklaces, watches, untucked shirts, sunglasses on hats (baseball), etc…

  • Any special request as far as color/type/mood of the background theme.

All athletes will be photographed head to toe even if feet will not show in some images. SO EVERY ATHLETE MUST WEAR ENTIRE UNIFORM FROM HEAD TO TOE!

THE FUN PART! Once I have photographed EVERY athlete and have the required standard poses that I need, I will allow athletes to come back through and get creative. This includes poses they might want for game day images, stat milestone images, buddy shots or anything their imagination can come up with. This is the fun part! Athletes are welcome and encouraged to bring props. Items such as sunglasses, cowboy hats, school flags, boas, sledge hammers, large chains etc. These are just a few common props but the more original and creative the better. Just use common sense in terms of what is appropriate and what is not.
